Drink Vans can add character on your wedding day
Mobile bars and drink vans are one of the hottest weddings trends at the moment, with popularity on the rise as more couples take a DIY approach to their special day. We here on the South Coast are lucky to have a selection of incredible drink vans available for hire, which can be a great addition to any Seacliff House wedding and really add a unique flavour to your day. Here are some of our favourites.
Henry Clive Caravan Bar
Henry Clive are becoming real regulars at Seacliff House. Great RSA trained staff, multiple bar setups and a very cool vintage caravan to boot. Check them out.
Meet Mabel
Meet Mabel is a 1950s replica vintage caravan that caters to all kinds of events on the NSW South Coast. The van serves beverages supplied by you, so you can serve the exact drinks you want without having to pay a mark-up. The name Mabel means beautiful and lovable, which suits this gorgeous mobile bar down to a T. Serving beer, wine, cocktails and other refreshments, Meet Mabel not only offers a fantastic, professional service but also looks absolutely amazing in photographs. The vintage aesthetic of the caravan perfectly complements a boho-chic or vintage inspired wedding, while the classic white colour palette will work beautifully with any theme. Meet Mable can also supply lawn games and a rustic style photo booth with vintage props your guests will love.
Kombi Keg
Kombi Keg believes that the bar is the focal point of any event, providing the gathering spot for guests to mingle, so you might as well give them something to remember. We couldn’t agree more, and it doesn’t get much more memorable than Kombi Keg. This lovingly restored 1971 Low Light Kombi has been customised to offer a six-tap system capable of pouring up to 50L kegs of beer, cider, wine, cocktails, kombucha and soft drinks. You can hire Kombi Keg to do all the work for you, or just hire the van, set up your own kegs and let guests help themselves. The awesome team at Kombi Keg can also help with props and styling, creating a cool bar area complete with pallet bar, festoon lighting, tables, chairs, picnic rugs, cushions, garden games and large marquee lights.
The Rambling Rose Bar
If you’re looking for a gorgeous and unique bar to add to your vintage or boho wedding aesthetic, The Rambling Rose Bar has you covered. This delightful little pocket caravan was custom designed to provide a bespoke bar and beverage service with a difference, with the fully equipped bite size bar arriving onsite to ensure drinks flow all night long. The professional and charismatic Rambling Rose staff will even stroll around and clean up after your guests – how’s that for service?! A valuable addition to any DIY wedding, these guys can serve any bottled beer, wine, cider, champagne, spirits, hot beverages and up to three cocktail options per event.
Jack’s Espresso
Weddings aren’t just about cocktails and champagne, so why not consider hiring a mobile coffee van for all your latte and espresso loving guests? Jack’s Espresso offers the perfect caffeine fix, all poured from the back of a beautiful mint coloured vintage ute that’s been fully customised to offer a professional barista service. The perfect complement to a mobile cocktail bar or fantastic as a standalone drink van, Jack’s Espresso also serves heart-warming hot chocolate, making it the ideal drink service for winter weddings at The Barn. Great for cooler weather, designated drivers or just that end of evening pick-me-up, hiring a coffee van can really add another dimension to your event.
Airstream Social
Airstream social is the new kid on the block and has loads of flexibility for your event. It can be used to serve cocktails, coffee, before and after parties. Really you are only limited by your own creativity. Not to mention this old refurbished caravan will add a real talking point and photo opportunity to any wedding.
Why hire a mobile drink van?
Portable bars and mobile drink vans are popular for a reason, and we here at Seacliff House adore this unique format of serving drinks to guests. For starters, they can really add to the theme of your wedding, especially if you’re going for a rustic, vintage or Boho style wedding, as they look fantastic and really set the scene for some unforgettable photos. They also add such a great alfresco experience, especially during the warmer months where the portable bar can become the centrepiece for outdoor celebrations.
Some drink vans let you supply the drinks yourself, which can be a great way to save some money while also giving you the freedom to offer the exact type of drinks you want rather than being limited to whatever the venue supplies. The Kombi Keg even lets you serve your own home brew!
We love the festival vibe that drink vans help create, and we’ve seen some truly amazing weddings here at Seacliff House where the mobile bars have been set up amongst vintage rugs, fairy lights and lawn games while an acoustic musician swoons guests. If it’s that type of magical, laidback atmosphere you’re looking for, our recommended drink vans can help you create a vibe that’ll really take your Seacliff House wedding up a notch.
